Welcome to Spainserve

We have upgraded the site once again. Unfortunately, just after we did the last upgrade, the code was re-written, meaning that the "new" site was almost immediately rendered out of date. Due to various reasons we just did not have the time needed to perform the conversion of the site until now. A lot of work has gone into this version of the site and it is just aboutexpat community Spain finished apart from a few creases. We will continue ironing out the creases over the next few weeks to get it working just right. The features in the last version were not very user friendly so our main aim this time was to make all of the feature much more user friendly for our members. The features brought to you with this version are  blogs, a great online community system, the online forum, buddy-lists, messenger, all free to registered members. These days we could all do with a bit of luck. Get networking on the site now, and make new friends and contacts throughout the expat community. Check out your profile page with its new features.

Spain property buyers checklist

Ok, so you've found your dream home and are coming to live in Spain? Here is a basic checklist Before you sign any documents, you should obtain advice from a lawyer (abogado) or make sure you have an independant interpreter with you who can read through everything and make sure you understand exactly what you are signing. We would always recommend that you appoint your own independant Solicitor (Abogado) This way you can be sure that they only have your interests at heart.

With over fifty million tourists visiting Spain each year, this popular West European country must have something special which attracts the visitor. What exactly is it ...?

The main beauty of this lovely land can be summed up in just one word - variety - and, as you all well know, variety is the spice of life! Whether you are referring to its climate, geography, history, culture or cuisine ... there is something to appeal to all tastes, ages and pockets.
