San José seeking bankruptcy protection 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Going by what the papers say, the company San José are seeking bankruptcy protection. I believe this is the developer behind the Santa Anna del Monte golf resort at Jumilla.

Please read this news report.

If you search in google for san jose inversiones suspensión de pagos you will see others. http://www.diarioinformacion.com/secciones/noticia.jsp?pRef=2008051000_19_753067__Vega-Baja-constructora-Jose-presenta-suspension-pagos-deja-aire-empleos-Orihuela

Please make your on mind up if you think this is true. It will be important to contact San José for their explanation of these reports.

SJ have gone into volutary administration, this happened on Friday. SJ have yet to notify it's clients (nothing knoew there then) Pilar has posted a notification today after being bombarded with e-mails saying she is waiting instruction form the managers before e-mailing all Santa Ana clients. If they can't manage to find funds to continue they will go into liquidation. That poses many problems for all us purchasers, especially those without BG's
It's a sad day, SADM is a great development in a fantastic setting. Lets keep our fingers crossed that they can recover quickly and proceed with the build.

The Costa Blanca News wishes to speak to people who have bought into Santa Anna del Monte at Jumilla in relation to the developer San José starting bankruptcy proceedings.
The contact is Dave Jones address This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

He is writing a story for this Friday's edition (16 May 08), the usual deadline is Wednesday. If you have a point or questions that need raising, it may be worth contacting him.
By the way I am nothing to do with the paper, I just happen to be in email conversion about Jumilla golf that Dave Jones received.

Hi

I believe I am one of those unfortunate people caught up in this. I have had communication today from our Lawyers over in Spain. Feeling very sad today wondering what to do.

Thanks for any info that you think might help.

Regards Chrissie

Hi Chrissie,
have you been wathching the forum on Santanadelmonte.net ? there is quite a bit of information in liquidation thread. We are in the same boat, so time is of the essence we must all act now. SJ are not answering their phones at the moment. My solicitor is having a great deal of trouble trying to get through.
